Our role
Black Harem is a video index site focusing on Black women, ebony, African, and Caribbean content. We do not host any videos ourselves. Instead, we embed videos from third-party hosts. This means we cannot remove videos from the internet, only remove their listings and embeds on our site. If you own rights to a video, you should also notify the site that actually hosts the video.
How to submit a copyright notice (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3))
If you want us to remove a listing, please include all of the following in your notice:
- The URL(s) of the listing(s) on blackharem.com
- A description of the work you own
- Your name, address, and e-mail
- A statement made in good faith that the content is used without your permission
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner
- Your signature (typing your name is acceptable)
Send your notice to the Copyright Agent via the contact page.
What happens next
We review valid notices and act within a few business days. If you receive a removal and believe it was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g) through the same contact form. If a source repeatedly causes valid copyright complaints, we will remove all its listings from Black Harem.
